And plenty of room for the water pump and alternator..... battery may have to go in the back though.

  1. Wow! It's really coming along. Been fascinating watching your build. Someday after catching up with motorcycle projects, I'd like to start in on an elderly Ford Model T I've had for years. Can't wait to see your Cadet moving down the road.

  2. Many Thanks Larry, I can't wait either! My previous project was a Triumph Cub which had been waiting 30 years for the rebuild! What bikes are you rebuilding?

  3. Well,at the moment I'm going to try a dual Triumph 650 rebuild. A 1957 (pre-unit),and a 1966 Unit construction. I'll be covering them at my new blog, "Travel's with Pete". In the wings I have several BSA's, a few more Triumph 650's,and so many more. It's been awhile since I've done any restoration, and I need to get set-up again. Looking forward to getting back into it. My Model T has been waiting close to 30 years...

  4. Well that sounds a nice collection. You should have enough material for the next couple of years at least! Will be following your blog.........

  5. Hello,Just found your rebuild and it's already looking like it could be a godsend to me.
I recently bought a Hamblin Cadet in a similar state to yours (actually I think it's worse ) but with a broken back like yours
and I'm about to grit my teeth and start....
    Any advice would be welcome......
