Not too much progress over the last couple of weeks, but found a spare hour today to make up the brackets and mudguard stays. A bracket has been welded to the brake hub which the stays will bolt to. certainly not over-engineered, using 8mm tube for the stays but so little weight so should be fine.

  1. Fender mount looks great, a lot cleaner looking than others I've seen on similar cars on the web.

  3. Thanks Larry, being a bit lazy is my excuse for not 'over engineering' Have just finished the nearside one so will be on to the rears now.
Have you started on the model 'T' project yet?

  4. The 'T' is still in the 'R and D' phase. I have to clear out a space for a project that size, ummmm..seem to be a bunch of motorcycles in the way...Been thinking how I want to go with it. I have a Model 'A' frame I could use if I decide to go with a V-8, but have been toying with the idea of a 4 or 6 cylinder in-line motor. Maybe just beef the 'T' frame up a bit...of course there is also the possibility of scratch building a custom frame....?
